I was told to complete my network unlocking by doing a backup and restore but I want to sync it first. I also upgraded my iTunes since it was asking to and now I don't know where to find the sync, backup and restore anymore Robot Frustrated

Hello!

As you were told restoring the device is absolutely crucial in completing the unlock process for your iPhone. I know how lost you feel, because I was as lost when iTunes updated their software to version 11! Things have been moved around so even an expert Apple user would be lost at first without proper instructions!

Which is why I am here to (hopefully/probably?) save the day! 😄

Prior to the iTunes update, you would find the iPhone on the left sidebar of iTunes. After the update, they have since changed the location and it is now at the top right (almost) corner of iTunes. This link should visually guide you better on where to find your iPhone in iTunes and get your iPhone backed up/restored/synced for your unlocking pleasure: http://goo.gl/CEBvWw

PS if you need more instructions on how to sync the iPhone, this will do you wonders as well: http://goo.gl/TyFJ3w

Hope it helps 🙂
