Delete emails that have large attachments

Hello,

My account box is nearly full.

I wish to delete emails that have large attachments.

I can view the attachments, sort by size -OK

I'll select the attachment with its email, click the "show email" button.

Nothing is displayed. 

I thought that option would open the email, so i could read and delete it

The only way we can delete is:

- get date send from attachment report.

- From the page navigation, guess a page that might be that date

- compare dates on that page to date of attachment

- enter a new navigation page , (binary search the range of pages)

- repeat until find email

- delete it

Sorry, that procedure is way too long.

Follow these steps:

1. If all your emails are in the Inbox then you only need to do this once. If not then repeat in each of the other mail folders.
2. In the upper right there is a View button. Click it and choose Sort By-> Size
3. All the large emails should be either at the top or bottom. You can change this in the column header where the list of emails appear.
4. Click the check box beside each email you want to delete.
5. Click the Delete button at the top when you are ready to delete them.

What are you using to get your emails, an application like Outlook or GMail or are you using the TELUS Webmail?

Are you trying to delete the entire email or just the attachment and keep the email?

I use TELUS Webmail to read my email.

I want to delete the attachment and its email.

Follow these steps:

Don't forget to change the Sort By back to Date when you are done otherwise you won't see your new emails at the top where you expect them to be.
