With game pass ultimate through Telus will it be easy to add an pre existing xbox in the home to it?
@BabyCarlos It is for sure. For this offer (if you're already subscribed to XPGU on your own), when signing up with us, your subscription directly with Microsoft is cancelled and moved to your TELUS bill. Whatever remaining time you have in your subscription is stored and stacked in your account.
For example, say you have two months left in your current XGPU subscription and you sign up with us. When it's done, you just start seeing the charge on your TELUS bill, and those two months are stored in your account. Then, if you ever want to go back to just paying through Microsoft, you can cancel with us and the two months are back...which gives you more than enough time to just sign back up with Microsoft, etc.
I just signed up for this through the Telus Premium. Do I get a link similiar to Netflix that allows me to "merge" my accounts. Or how does this work now so I do not get double charged?
Hey @TylerS3 if you're already an existing XBGU subscriber, you should've had the option to cancel your current/existing subscription through Microsoft as part of the setup process. If you didn't, your best bet would be to reach out to our Home Services team at 1-888-811-2323 so that they can look into that for you.
@A-B I was told I had to cancel, but was never setup... So I have to call in, cancel my current and then Telus re-sets me up?

If you’ve just never had Xbox Game Pass, but have a Microsoft account exhausting, do you have to open a new account just to use the pass through Telus? The process is confusing so I’m holding off on setting up through Telus until I have all the answers. Cheers!
Hey @Tapnroll not sure what you mean by having your Microsoft account 'exhausting', unless you're referring to an existing Xbox Live account? If that's what you mean, and your current XBL account is about to expire, you can simply sign up with us for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (which is basically Xbox Game Pass + Xbox Live together) and away you go.
Good ol autocorrect. I meant existing. i have an existing Microsoft account and console already. Do I have to create a new account or just merge existing with my Telus account? I have not ever had an xbox game pass active on my Microsoft account. Thanks in advance @A-B
@Tapnroll No, you can just reach out to our Home Services team at 1-888-811-2323 and they'll walk you through the process of cancelling your current XBL account and signing you up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through us.
Also note that any remaining time you have on your current existing account is stored, so for example if you were to do it today with 2 months remaining on your current subscription...should you ever cancel with us and go back to the way you had it before, that 2 months would be saved and reinstated onto your XBL subscription.
