Video Doorbell chime
Does anyone know if the Telus video door bell comes with an external chime or is there one available? This home we purchased has the Telus doorbell but it only "chimes" outside. Not sure exactly how...
Not that I'm aware of, no.
The door bell would require a hardwired chime. There isn't an external one available. Was your home not wired for a door belll.
yes, it was wired for a doorbell as it is using the existing wiring to power the DB camera. However, we can't seem to find the chime that you would expect in the traditional button & chime scenario. We think the previous owner might have removed the wired chime.
So I gather that the Telus video doorbell does NOT come with any other device to act as a chime?
