Smoke Detector as part of Home Security Package - false alarms no reason

Has anyone had experience with false alarms with the *smoke detectors* for no explicable reason? All systems were checked by Telus and we were advised there was no fault in the system. Fire trucks at...

    Yes for several hours. A tech is coming this week.

      And to add: SmartHome team confirmed with us the device was not - 1) near a bathroom, 2) near a furnace 3) near anything hot 4) we don't have pets 5) it was not dusty. So it is a mystery!
