The same here. Increasing bill by 5$ as maintenance fee plus last month partial fee for the same reason. An additional 10% under new term. Not even sending heads up on that. This is an extorsion

Why is Telus only responding to this via PM? It just makes it look sneaky and wrong. If they have nothing to hide, why not just answer for public to see instead of answering individual messages by PM?

When needing to look in to a specific customer's account or billing, we always move to private messaging for security purposes as we'll be discussing private information like account numbers, etc. Thanks!

I am in the same boat as Marguerette - many years with a predecessor company on honored fixed contract, and now with Telus, in half a year or so this bogus fee is already in. No one from Telus did any maintenance either. So if you want to deal with this via PMs, please reach out, I am still not sure what this "maintenance" is all about.
