Doorbell camera notifications non-stop

Hello,
I'm getting non-stop motion/video notifications from my doorbell. I have it set to doorbell push only, Mon-Fri, and "Do not send notifications that occur within: 45 minutes". If someone is standing on my door step, I'll get 20 notifications in 5 minutes. That includes motion even though it's not selected.
This is really frustrating and I'm starting to regret switching to Telus security.

Hi Sheinjam1031 - we recommend checking out your notification settings and adjust them so you get less useful notifications. Here is a Guide to improve your alerts

  • It's 2025 and it's still a problem. Doorbell camera motion detection means constant chimes during any sort of wind that moves tree branches. And it's impossible to turn off. Unchecking does not work. I note that I am now number 14 on the frustrated list.

I agree this is frustrating, and I’m happy I’m not experiencing the same. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your doorbell, or reinstalling it in your desktop.
