I should add - I have about $1000 in monthly fees with Telus through my 4 mobile lines, and TV and internet over multiple properties. I had security for years. I have streaming services through Telus. Funny they should upset a customer to this extent over $70 that I had been willing and actively trying to pay for months. Anyways, waiting a couple more months for my contracts to be up, and I’ll have some decisions to make!

Totally get where you're coming from, specially if the other accounts you mentioned are in good standing and you've been trying to pay. Maybe once the payment you found a way to make is received by TELUS you can give them another shout in case they can retrieve it from collections or find another possible solution.
