Thread Publish Issues

I keep getting a thread 'Publish' rejection / warning that the body of my post exceeds 2100 characters ... I've & trimmed & trimmed & trimmed again ... last was 1856 characters (per: https://wordcounter.net/character-count) and it still won't take.  What's up?

  • I ran into a similar posting problem so I erased everything in that reply window and typed deleted. Then I posted into a new reply window the same as before and it went through no problem.

  • Hello TELUS Support Team ... I'm wasn't able to 'Publish' (two different types of errors, one pictured below) ... I wasn't even able to reach out to you folks via the Neighbourhood forum (until today) ... see screenshot of my attempt:

... it seems the trick is to Copy the body of any content created in this Neighbourhood Reply interface, Paste it into Notepad (to strip it of all formatting), re-Copy it while still in Notepad and then finally Paste it back into the Neighbourhood Reply GUI once more and Publish.

I do not know what hidden HTML content / formatting is getting added by the T. N. interface, all I know is that this b/s wasted an awful lot of my time.

The whole object of this effort was to publish this thread, 'Mobile Hotspot Routers - any feedback on NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 Pro?', here.

Hi there, Can you please confirm if everything is working properly for you now?

... only if I follow my very roundabout mitigation methodology, as outlined above ...

Hello! We've moved this post to a relevant area in the Neighbourhood instead of where it was.

That filter is in place to prevent spamming / text walls, etc. Have you tried splitting it into halves = first half the original post, and the second half replying to yourself with 'Cont...' at the top or something similar?
