Texts from 183587
I keep receiving texts from 183587 claiming to be TELUS and that I have a payment "past due" The message reads: FreeMsg TELUS 8884961481: (changing message about being reminded to pay). Reply 1...
Total scam. That's not even a Telus toll free number. Depending on your phone / messaging app, you may be able to report it as spam / junk. If not see: https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/report-spam-texts-smartphone
I've also recently got repeated messages from this number (183587), about a Telus account that I do not own at all. Telus live agent have confirmed with me what I've received are spam. Telus account numbers are 6-7 digits only but the message I got was having so many more digits to it. Also got spam calls about the Telus account I do not own calling me incorrect name.
