Based on your description, the call you received appears to be a scam. Telus takes customer security very seriously, and we want to assure you of the following:
- We will never ask for personal information such as passwords or credit card details over the phone.
- Telus representatives will always call from an identifiable 1-800 number with clear Caller ID as "Telus."
- We do not call from blocked or unknown numbers, nor do we make calls at odd hours.
If you suspect a call is fraudulent, we recommend you:
- Do not provide any personal information.
- Hang up immediately.

12 months agoThe first phone number you posted is associated with Iristel. Iristel numbers have popped up many times on the forums in the past. They appear to sell VoIP access to scammers overseas.
