Scam Check?
I am wanting to check if this is legit or a scam I received a call from +1 778-605-9224
They left a callback number of 778-819-6214 if we get disconnected
I spoke to Lisa Joseph Employee ID EQ59425 and John Paolo Employee ID EQ36866
It was about a discount and a new phone.
They also tried to send me an email from [email protected]
Except I couldn't receive the emails.
Not sure what you're expecting Telus to fix. The person that called was a scammer, who is almost certainly based overseas, and pretending to be from Telus.

I just got a call from 'Lisa Josephs' who pumped me for information. I refuse to tell her my postal code and she told me to go to hell. FIX THIS wonderful TELUS

Yeah, they tried to get me today. Deal seemed way too good to be true. Red flags everywhere. He identified himself as Sami Hanson ID XH3020 and used the same phone number and email.

Hi ShaunCurtis - Our IDs are never in that format. Not legitimate.

Yeah, it's unfortunately a scam. Not a Telus website / domain name. Not a Telus phone number but one from a VoIP provider selling access to scam call centres. Telus employees don't give their ID's like that.
If they charged anything to your card, make sure you talk with your bank. If a phone was ordered and arrives at your place, reach out to Telus or whichever company it's actually from to ensure you can return it and not be on the hook for the cost. 🙂

Thanks, I locked my card right away before anything could be charged. I will keep that in mind for a phone showing up though.
