At this point, you would need to contact General Credit Services directly; and this is not a 'scam'. When one of our accounts gets sent to collections with no change in status, it's eventually purchased, in this case by GCS. This is why you'd need to contact them directly. Also, this process takes a while for sure, so that's what happened here, not someone 'sharing your information' with anyone which doesn't happen.

Well thank you Telus for sending my account with a $12 balance.. really appreciate that, phoned and paid it directly to close it with Telus and found out it was $12 owing and not the 130 something GCS is trying to get. Now I have to call and sit on hold for hours again to prove I paid it and closed it with Telus directly so GCS will get off my back about it when they seem to have just made up a number I owe.
