issues in auto payment of prepaid existing plan
Hello, in my prepaid account i cannot find the option to set auto payment of the existing promo offer i have. i got 1 year prepaid promo offer of unlimited canada wide calling and texting last year...

Yes, I have already added my credit card for the payment.
The issue is I switched to Telus from Bell last year with the promise that i will keep getting promotional offer on my account as long as I pay yearly prepaid charges $120+taxes. irrespective of this offer discontinues or not.
Now I have been informed that the promo ended. Even if I pay now, I won't get Canada-wide unlimited calls & texts with 2gb/month data. How does this complete a logic of promising that I'll be getting this promo as long as I pay before this plan expires, and NOT given an option to pay for this on going plan??
This is not a good customer service provided by Telus, it was a false promise in the 1st step! I felt for a trap now!
my current plan: 10$/month paid in 1 go for full year.
200 minutes plus 200 texts were provided as base plan. Plus with PROMO it got converted to unlimited calls & texts canada wide plus 2gb/month data.
Please keep this promo ongoing for my account. & charge me for another year. else i will never come back to Telus ever.

Hello patelkeyur2018, sadly the offer is no longer available since July 2025. This is the description I was able to find regarding the offer in question. "TELUS Prepaid customers activating the Talk & Text 100 plan, and using the promo code, get unlimited nationwide calling, SMS and 2GB data monthly for a year."
Clarification: Offer expired: True.
Activated this plan (April 2025) before the offer expiry & thing mentioned was "as long as I keep paying for this plan yearly; before expiry", this PROMO code will remain enforced on my profile.

The promotion you’re referring to was a one-year promotional offer. While it could be activated before the offer expiry, it was only valid for that initial promotional term and does not automatically continue or renew after the year ends. Once the promotional period is over and the plan renews, the regular plan at that time would apply.
