Double Charged

I was double charged, I think because I didn’t realize I have automatic payments set up and manually paid the bill myself as well. The second transaction appears on my bank balance but doesn’t reflect anywhere on the Telus app. I’m not sure where to see where this second payment went on the app or how to know if it will be applied as credit for my next billing period. I’ve tried using the virtual assistant but it is unable to tell me if I have credit on my account.

    Hi aquarly - Your payment if it was sent to the correct account number will be displayed as a credit on your My TELUS account in 3-5 business days after the payment was made.

     

    As an example, if your bill is $100 then your My TELUS will show your manual payment of $100 and then the pre-authorized payment of $100 will be next.

     

    Your account will show -$100 balance and next bill will bring the balance to $0
