Can debt collectors collect telus late fees
Hi, I have an old home services account that went into collections awhile ago, I'd like to pay it off as the original balance was only like $400, however it has ballooned into over 3 grand. I know debt collectors in canada can't collect interest, so I am wondering if TELUS has interest using late fees and this is what they are using to accrue the interest on the debt

That is all handled and accrued through the agency itself, not TELUS. Any inquiries you have about that would be best answered by the agency directly.
