Billing Mistake
When I log into my account I'm told the account is overdue. Your bill is overdue. Please pay the full balance now.
I'm setup for pre-authorized credit card payments. I checked my credit card account and it shows the monthly payment to Telus. Here is the History transaction info
August 04, 2025 | Payment | -$128.12 | You made a Visa payment - Thank you | 4742470292 |
Please correct this mistake.
I finally received an answer from chat. They suggested I log into my account again which I did. The unpaid bill message was gone. No explanation on who in Telus screwed up. What a waste of time.

Same thing happened to me too for Julys bill. Initially it said balance $0 and paid for. Even posted on my visa. I logged in today for something else and to my surprise it shows July bill overdue. I even confirmed with transaction history that it was paid and it's on my visa statement. I use pre auth too. There must be a glitch since there's a few topics on this lately. I left a message on their chat and fb but still no reply yet. I didn't want to wait for an hr on the phone for to speak to someone. I'm just glad I'm not the only one so I know it's their system.

Ya I got a reply but it was from Facebook chat that same day. They confirmed it's a glitch they were aware of and I didn't need to do anything. Later that day the warning was gone. Kind of stupid they don't have a disclaimer on their website that some accounts are being improperly reflected. Instead they prefer to get flooded with calls and messages.

This also just happened to me today. I haven't any luck trying to get hold of anyone at Telus but hopefully they will have customer service opened tomorrow on Monday.
