Official Support TeamThe Smart Home network is designed to provide a dedicated Wi-Fi SSID optimized for IoT and smart home devices. It’s not a traditional VLAN in the strictest enterprise sense, but it does create a logically segmented wireless environment. If you’re aiming for a more enterprise-style VLAN or complete network segmentation, you may want to consider using a dedicated router behind the FXA5000 with VLAN-aware switching and custom firewall rules. But for most home setups, the Smart Home network strikes a balance between isolation and convenience.
