I called Telus and they sent out a tech that installed a Boost 6E Mini. My Xbox is now hardwired to the 6E Mini and I am getting speeds of ~400 Mb/s.

2 years agoI don't believe there are any restrictions related to speeds for devices on your network. It's possible the XBox is connected to a distant access point rather than the closest one. You may wish to temporarily turn off all but the closet access point and then perform your tests to see if that makes any difference.
I've had similar issues with my Apple devices that remain connected to a distant access point when there is a faster connection closer. Simply toggling wifi off/on on the device usually rectifies the issue for me.

As suggested, I unplugged 2 or the 3 cylinders so that the closest cylinder was the only WiFi booster online. Same results, still ~20Mb/s. The best results so far have been when the Xbox was within 12 inches of the WiFi booster.
