WIFI password frustrations

Community Power UserIf your Smart TV isn't able to use a 12 character wifi password, you may need to see if there is a firmware update out for it. You should be more upset with your TV manufacturer for not taking network security more seriously and allowing longer passwords.
If you're using the Telus supplied gateway, you can easily change your wifi password if you wanted to.
Instructions to change using MyTelus (online) or the Telus My Wi-fi app for your phone.
Or just log in to the gateway itself (ideally using a hardwired computer) and change the wifi password there. (Instructions)
