WiFi Boost and Ethernet

What you mean by "the original one needs to stay connected to the router through the ethernet cable"? Did you have a boost before and you just added 2 more?

Hi xray, thanks for your reply. The boosters came in a pack of 2, so by original I mean the first one of the pair, which is connected to the router by the ethernet cable. I didn't have any boosters before this, but from what I'm reading, it looks like I'll have to get at least one more.

Thanks again, xray. How do I disable the wifi on the router? Will that change the name or the strength of my network?

The T3200M router requires an Ethernet connection to the first Boost. The newer Arcadian unit does not, once the Boost units are set up, it manages the mesh from the router itself, allowing placement of Boost units away from the router location.
