Why are there channels on the Telus TV app but not on the optik box?
I noticed that while using the app I can watch channels such as the Price is Right Barker Era channel and the Classic Family Feud channel, that don’t even appear in the guide on my Optik TV box. How ...
Just an update on these channels: they're FAST channels, a new type of streaming channel which are free but are ad-supported. They are currently not available on the old set top boxes; they are only available on the newer TV+ boxes, the browser, and app.

Community Power UserMy guess is that you're referring to channels 364 to 368. I went and checked the app, my old PVR and the new TelusTV+ set top box. While those channels do show up in the guide on the app and the new set top box, they don't appear to be added to the list of available channels / guide yet on the older boxes. If you manually type in the channel numbers on the remote, you can still access them on the old Optik set top boxes.
