When I use telus tv mobile app how do I lower video quality?
When I cast TV using the app I get buffering pauses all the time. If I go to a station's website and lower video quality to 480p everything works fine
Retired telus internet and tv tech. Your issue is out of scope for ts. However tech support can check some other things. If on copper service they can check the line, check dsl, check for restrains, check if perhaps on wrong internet plan, use an app to see what your physical set up is
- What would happen if I configured the router to slow down the traffic to a device? Does telustv know that it has to play video at a lower quality on that device? You could definitely give that a try, though no guarantees that it'd stop the buffering from happening.
