That's correct, one is for the SIM card (which I've installed) and the other is the wireless access point. I want to use my own router in place of the latter. I'm not currently in the same city but here is an image I found online:
The box on the left took the sim card and connected to the tower. I do not want to rent the box on the right if it is not required

2 months agoThanks for the picture. That's the ZTE MC7010 5G Outdoor Wireless router modem paired with the TELUS WiFi hub. Officially, TELUS supports this package as an optimized plug and play setup and there isn't any internal documentation on swapping out the hub for a 3rd party option. Sorry, I wish I had a better answer for you.
