Unable to cancel service

I have called multiple times because I’d like to cancel my home Internet service that’s not yet been installed. The agents keep telling me they cannot cancel my service because there is an order (or installation) pending. Is there any way to bypass this and have my service cancelled?

  • Person who told you was correct incorrect.  I am a retired telus customer service rep. The agent needs to be coached on how to cancel a pending order. If there's a issue with the cancel of a order ie error message then there's a procedure on how to fix the error needs to be done. There's zero for tech support to do as there's no active service.  Sorry you got a bad rep.
