Unable to add new contacts Macbook Apple Mail
When I try to add a new contact to the address book, it allows the name to be typed but as I move to a phone # or email address field it reverts to some other card and lists "No Name" at the bottom of the list. ???

Not sure if this will help but based on the information you provided I found a post that may have a solution:
"Disable Google DAV cards in Contacts preferences when you need to add new contacts. You can turn it back on so that you can see all of the Google Contacts."
It seems to be an issue between Google and Apple Mail. Here is the post:
