Type of injector used on fibre optic line?
I want to move the Fiber Terminal Box installed by Telus. What is the type of connector used at the end of the fiber Optik line? Can I purchase an extension cable? If so, what do I look for to order?...
Be careful. The system works by timing the pluses and changing the length of the cable affects the timing. Not sure if a meter is long enough to mess things up but it might be. In my installation there is a loop of fibre next to the ont, presumably for timing purposes.
