Turning off WiFi on a PureFibre modem

I would like to turn off the WiFi radio on the PureFibre modem. Is there a way to do this?

I can see the option to pause WiFi on the myWiFi app, but that merely pauses access to all devices connected to it - including the wired ones!

I want to turn the WiFi off completely but keep the wired devices working.

Thanks,

Jaco

  • How To Disable WiFi On Your T3200 Modem

    1. Using a web browser on any device, go to http://192.168.1.254/

    2. Login using the username admin, and the password.

    • Password is displayed on a sticker on your modem. Its the smaller password on the lower left corner.

    3. Select Wireless Setup

    • Located on the top of the page: Home, Status, Wireless Setup

    4. Look for Wireless Radio, and click the circle button next to Disable.

    5. Click Apply.

    Your all done 🙂

    Yes!

From a computer connected by ethernet to the router, enter 192.168.1.254 in a browser URL bar. This will take you to a web interface of the router. Enter the Admin credentials from the plate on the router, and you will find the option to turn off Wi-Fi in the menu there.
