Trying to cancel, Telus makes it near IMPOSSIBLE, why?

I'm trying to cancel within 24 hours of initiating a contract under CRTC and Buyer's Right to Cancel provisions, and finding it impossible. Service isn't even set up yet, there's no equipment to return, and no reason is required. It's a full-time job trying to get them to cancel - I'll be boycotting TELUS and all subsidiary companies (e.g. Koodo, Public Mobile, and any others listed on https://companydata.com/company-profile/telus/).
I'm sorry for your loss and hope you got this resolved shortly thereafter posting!
