I live in a single detached home and I already have 1.5gb fibre connection through Teksavvy, which includes their TV service. The house next door, which is literally feet away because I live near downtown, had Bell Fibe TV/Internet. So its not a physical neighborhood availability issue.
I want to switch because they are offering 2 years at key good price and their TV service is probably better.

Thanks for the link. I read that new entrants can piggy back on this but are we talking about the same thing.
Bell Canada, Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (Rogers), and TELUS Communications Inc. (TELUS) are not eligible to access mandated wholesale HSA services anywhere in Canada.

Telus has already confirmed they can provide fiber internet service to me immediately. I could sign up today.
I am trying to establish if and when they can provide live TV service (Telus TV+) along with it. Currently, they say they cannot. This is essentially an over-the-internet service that could technically be accessed anywhere. There could be a technical reason for preventing role out to all cities in Ontario, but I am assuming there may be some regulatory or legal issue holding things up.
