Telus digital box problem with guide
I am having trouble with both my digital boxes (one replaced recently to see if problem persists-it does). When toggling between time slots on TV guide or returning to TV guide the guide is slow to respond with content. I have connected directly to the router with cat 6 and still the problem persists. I have contacted Telus on numerous occasions to get help to rectify this problem but to no avail. I have gone through the recommended reboot procedures etc.. I believe the problem is with the Telus Digital 21-T android boxes. We did not have this problem before switching to the android boxes. No problem when I use the laptop or phone to access the guide through the Telus tv app. Suggestions

Just curious what box you had before the 21T. I am new to Telus and that is what they installed for me but when I called in with problems they replaced it with 24S. Is that the older, more desirable model?

The 24S is a new one if it has the reported 'C' usb plug for charging to fix the issue with 21T power cord. Have not seen one, care to post a picture?

Try rebooting the box and modem. If that does not help, check for software updates and contact Telus support it is often a signal issue or glitch.

- Update Your System • Open Settings • Select About • Check for updates
- Clear App Cache • Open Settings • Select Apps • Find TV guide app • Clear cache and data
- Check Network Connection • Confirm both boxes show strong connection • Test both WIFI and ethernet connections
- Power Cycle Your Boxes • Unplug both digital boxes from power • Wait 2 minutes • Plug them back in and let them fully restart

Still having issues after all of your suggestions. There is still a delay when accessing the guide and sometimes no guide information at all unless try again.
