Telus Connect App troubleshooting

I have a wifi smart hub need to boost the signal to reach my Telus cameras.  Telus sold me the cameras and a booster but after multiple long phone calls I was told they no longer sell boosters.  So I have cameras that don’t work.  I found a Telus wifi starter pack on FB marketplace but can’t get the Connect app to recognize that the first booster has a solid blue light.  I’ve reset both the hub & booster, deleted & reinstalled the Connect app and still won’t work.  Are these obsolete?
