I'd consider it 100% a scam. Not a Telus phone number. Not a Telus email address. You may want to reach out to Telus directly to discuss the security of your account and possibly to add a password for when someone calls in about your account to try make changes.
I just got this call but from another number. I got an email from them during our call offering me 40% discount and new iPhones 16 with no additional charge. The email went to my spam folder and that is when I became suspicious. I then googled while I was on the phone and found this thread. That is when I shut her down and hung up.
