smart hub

Just received a smart hub but don't know the purpose of it.  Is it supposed to replace my router or work in conjunction with it?

      Still not quite sure what you mean. Is your existing router working?

        Yes it is. Router works fine. We got new mobile phones and Telus sent me this smart hub.
