Replacing the purefibre boost wifi device

Since my previous question went unanswered I thought I'd approach the solution a different way. I have purefibre installed. So there's the modem and then the little boost wifi device that's attached to it. Can I unplug that and plug in my Google nest wifi pro to replace it? Or are there additional steps I need to worry about?
