PVR is offline
I recently had my Optic 4K box fail after several years of operation. Telus replaced it, and live TV now operates as it should. However, I cannot record new program content. I get an on screen mssg saying "Your PVR is offline". This is a Technicolor UI8001. Does it not have a PVR on board? I jumped through all the phone support hoops until the system finally instructed me to call 1-888-811-2323. Great I thought, I'm finally going to speak with a human. Nope. The same series of irrelevant questions and misinterpretations. Can anybody help? My network is fine, the Optik box is now connected directly to the modem. -Thanks for listening!
