Progressive lag in my video game play

Console is plugged into ethernet.  Never had this problem for the last 3 years.  Each game I play the lag gets progressively worse.  Restart of everything helps but then it progressively gets worse again.  3 games in I can't play.

Help!

    Which console? Which game(s)?

     

    Some games are known for latency issues.

    There's a chance it may be on the server/game side as well. If you've already performed troubleshooting, your best bet may be to reach out directly to our Tech Support team for further investigation.
