Possible double nat issues
Hi,
I have Telus fiber 1gb connection and the t3200m modem/router. I have it in bridge mode and port one connected to a unifi dream machine. From my work pc when I use cmd to run tracert I get the following
Tracing route to dns.google [8.8.8.8]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms unifi.localdomain [192.168.2.1]
2 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms 10.252.26.1
3 20 ms 19 ms 19 ms 154.11.15.111
4 18 ms 18 ms 18 ms 209.85.174.62
5 18 ms 18 ms 18 ms 108.170.233.129
6 18 ms 18 ms 18 ms 142.251.55.199
7 19 ms 18 ms 18 ms dns.google [8.8.8.8]
What I don't know is where the 10.252.26.1 is coming from, and if it's causing double nat issues. Can anyone chime in please.
Thanks

The 10.252.x IP address is the fibre node that your connection is going through. It isn't a router so it won't have any NAT. I have fibre and a T3200M that is NOT in bridge mode and I don't have double NAT at all.
