Over billing, not cancelling
Horrendous customer service cant process cancellations; After cancelling home services on the phone they still bill.., should i call Crtc or consumer rights?, or an MP? The bills are racking up and i dont know what to do, maybe its the english language barrier or they want to steal from customer's, ?

No details in your concern. What's your billing date and what date did you cancel on. How did you cancel ie text, email or did you call in? Retired telus customer service rep best thing is talk to customer service about your final bill

That doesn't sound right. Please send a private message to our TELUS_Support handle and we will investigate this further for you.

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time with the billing and cancellation process, Jturko. That sounds frustrating, and we'd like to help you get this sorted out.
First, could you log into your TELUS account through Self Serve at TELUS.com and check your current billing status? This will show if the cancellation request has been processed and if there are any outstanding charges that might explain the continued billing.
Just a heads up, that it usually takes one to two billing cycles after a cancellation request for the billing to completely stop, so that might be part of what's happening here.
If you find any discrepancies or if the cancellation isn't reflected, please let us know. .

Retired telus customer service rep. Not sure why you would be calling over and over to cancel. If you port service to another company and if the paperwork wasn't done correctly the porting is rejected. No details about date you canceled and billing date. Best thing is talk to customer service. Once they authenticate you they can check the account. They will check if account is canceled or active. They can check for stuck orders. They can also check notes on the account. They can check check call in date and when scheduled to cancel. I have seen where people delay the cancelation ie moving end of the semester or someone has passed away but the service was requested to stay on

Go to the CCTS every time.
This has been the only means I have found to get some form of result and response.
Attempting to access customer service just gets me bounced around to different people and departments.
