how can I keep my optic tv box. The new digital box is not compatible with my old tv. I have tried with escalation and just get told no option

How was your TV connected to the old Optik box? It uses HDMI as well.
There are converters you can get to connect older devices to HDMI. Here is one example:

What is the issue you are having? Both boxes connect via HDMI so it should work.
