Optik audio sync
Optik TV audio gradually grows out of sync with the picture and have to reboot the box to correct it. Happens daily. Can we get an ETA on the fix for this issue? It’s been on the forum for years and ...

I found a solution to this sync issue. I swapped the HDMI cable going to my Telus box with a new one and this seemed to resolve it. Not sure if was just coincidence but worth a shot if you are still experiencing this sync issue.

did you hold the 7 & 9 for like 5 seconds to initialize pairing?

Yes multiple times before i finally phoned the trouble line and they repeated the processes several times before determining that it must be the not working.
Now that i think about it, when i get the new remote what would be the procedure to pair the remote and selecting the options that ensure the orginal volume issue on the av system is correct. If you could send pdf’s that would be appreciated..
- Chriscolwood10 months agoFriendly NeighbourOk a few days ago unpaired the remote from the telus box and adjusted the volume slider on the right side up to 10 the top and repaired the remote to the telus box. It did have an improvement but depending on the program the volume has to be upped on the AV system to almost max to hear the audio. When a commerical comes on the volume come on very high and another commerical requires another volume adjustment again and then again when back to the program.Also noticed on some sporting events that the background audio ( crowd noise or referee speaking) are none existant while the game and commentators on.Any thoughts on this issue to get it resolved?…..

On anoother thread I mentioned surround sound. Find that in the TelusTV settings and turn off if on, or on if it is off. I fould that fixed my fading sound problem
