There's a set procedure for porting numbers to another company. This set procedure was set up by the crtc. If this wasn't done correctly then a account is not canceled. Example misspelling of a name, address incorrect. If a service with telus was in the name of Robert but you go by Bob and the porting name said Bob then the porting is rejected. Customer service is supposed to tell you why the delay, if they don't the if I took your call I fill out essentially a feedback which goes to the reps manager
