Ogden Landline Phone Service Out Again.
My landline has gone down again for the second time in two weeks.
Has anybody else been experiencing this recurring issue in the Ogden area?

OK so what is going on with the Ogden service outage then?
It has been down since June 22nd
Has anybody looked at it yet?
I can see the generator powering telus internet service at the terminal box down the street from me.
When will they connect landline power?

We checked our outage page over at www.telus.com/status and do see an outage in your area impacting landlines. The last update is within the past hour that restoration efforts continue, with no ETA as to a fix quite yet. You can stay tuned to that page for updates as we get them!

Hi phoney-baloney - Are you the same poster with two different profiles?
We can take a look at what happened. Please send us a private message and we will be happy to help

Yes I am the same person.
I had to create a new profile because your site would not let me create a new password.
more importantly my phone line has been down since June 22nd.
Now a see a new outage for Riverbend.
I guess that means my issue is on the backburner again.
I'm told that all that's needed is hooking up power for the landline.
PS
How do I send a private message?

Phone lines are still down in my area.
Apparently the terminal box lost power.
Somebody thought it would be a good idea to hook up a generator for the internet service.
Gotta keep the big money services going
However it must not have occurred to the tech that power is needed for the landline services.
You know 911, police, fire, ambulance. All the mundane phone stuff.
So much for emergency services for landline customers.
Lots of old folks in Ogden area.
So much for telus maintaining phone service.
I'm talking with tech support as we speak and they tell me they don't know who did the work or who can fix it.
Tech was here this morning he did not know who to contact.
Nobody knows what to do.
Tech support tells they will fix my phone when the outage is fixed.
It's not my phone it's the terminal ,when terminal is fixed my phone will work.
I keep telling them that.
For a communications company they sure don't have a clue how to communicate with their own staff.
