NH20A wall bracket orientation

Hello. New install completed today that was not attached to the wall. 

while the wall mount bracket does have a “top” indicator, I’m wondering if I can turn this sideways for easier access to the ports on the side instead of the bottom in my wiring closet once the unit is mounted.
