New Telus optik android box issue with changing inputs
I programmed my TV on the new remote but when i click input the menu for inputs comes up but i cant toggle between them...the buttons on the remote revert back to controlling the box itself
In general, the remote is not a universal remote that can fully control any TV. It is only meant to be able to power on/off, control volume/mute and switch inputs. If it's not switching inputs correctly, it might not be fully paired to the TV. You could try unpairing and re-pairing (instructions at https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/telus-tv-digital-box-remote)

If you keep pressing the input button on the telus remote rather than left/right on the D-Pad, it should cycle through the different inputs.
This just opens and closes the input list. Not sure it matters anyways , It’s not like the remote can control the tv menu, seems like it can just turn the tv on and off
