I have seen that post and tried that already and mentioned in my original post (see point #2). It will show up connected and green and yet none of my phones or laptops will connect to it even if they are sitting right by it. Also as i mentioned, Telus tech on the phone told me that 2nd wifi boost 7 unit setup does not work anymore which i find hard to believe.

Thanks for the information.
We officially don't support two Boost 7s in one configuration and we use the Boost 6E Lite as the secondary Boost.
If your devices won't connect to the second unit, it's most likely that your devices have a strong signal to Boost A so they won't switch to Boost B

Hello.
Is the Boost 6E Mini the same as the Boost 6E Lite you mention here as a secondary boost? Can that be set up via the Connect app?
Does it need to be a wired connection or can it be set up a wireless mesh node with my existing Boost 7 main router? I just need to extend my wifi signal a little bit to reach into my detached garage. - usman4eva19 days agoFriendly Neighbour
Thank you for your quick responses. I am well aware of sticky clients and have ensured that my devices connect to the one with the strongest signal but it simply does not work. I will go with your other suggestion "we officially don't support two Boost 7s in one configuration" because that's what the TELUS rep on the phone said as well. This is disappointing and if this is the case, TELUS should say this outright and publish it on their website. As i mentioned earlier, the TELUS App as well as the Boost 7 devices web GUI show they are working together in mesh without any errors.
Thank you, i will consider this matter closed but unresolved. Appreciate your support.
