Microsoft not accepting email from Telus.net
For the last 3 days I have had emails sent from a Telus.net account blocked from going to any Microsoft account - Outlook.com or Hotmail.ca The message is the Telus.net account does not meet securit...
- 5 months agoI have done a little more testing and found that the only time the issue occurs is when I use the BCC field to try and access a Microsoft account, even individually.
The easiest way forward is for this old user to adapt to the new world. I accept that we need more security with our emails. It's time to figure out a better way to send group emails to my friends and strata residents.Thank you to all who took the time to give me your suggestions. I really appreciate your comments.

Thanks for addressing my problem. I understand that changes are being made to the email systems to help prevent phishing attacks. I support this even if it means I have to adapt to new restrictions.
My problem seems to come from me volunteering to send emails to our 45 strata residents using the BCC field to protect their identity. It has worked well for years but just recently has rejected all emails going to a Microsoft-owned account. The failure comes from the Dkim (DomainKeys Identified Mail) field. I tried resending to just the failed 6 addresses using the BCC address field, but all 6 still failed. Individual emails sent to each of the 6 from my Telus account passed.
As a workaround around I can send these bulk emails from my Google account. They all seem to get through. However, in the long term, this will diminish my use of my Telus email account.
As an aside, Passpoint has an extensive writeup on the new security protocalls and how they help prevent phishing. It is more than I want to learn, especially as I cannot implement any solution. It has to be Telus and Google

Have you tried using a web browser to access you Telus account and then do the bulk send there?
