long time email account deleted without warning
A couple of days ago our land line was cancelled as moving to a new place.
Without warning, our email address was also deleted.
It seems that even though the internet adsl service was disconnected years ago, the email address stayed connected to the land line service, not connected to our newer fibre service and as such now it was deleted.
Have tried numerous calls and no one is really getting the urgency to fix this, as it seems it can be retrieved within the first 48 hours with good luck.
The email address is used for all our primary bills, contact with family and more.
Has anyone had any luck with this - other locations to call?

Well - it was repaired, but to other long term customers, if you've had a land line and internet associated with it previously, they may not see that the email account is connected to the land line account, and delete it without warning. We thought it was connected some time ago to the mobility account which we had for rural smart hub, and the land line was going to be cancelled by telus previously as per the installation of fibre networks.
SO make sure you attach your email to another active account before making any changes to your old land line account.
