Is T3200M compatible with Wifi Boost 7 (v3.0)?
I currently use the Actiontec T3200M connected directly to the fibre receptacle on the wall (I live in an apartment that is pre-wired for fibre). I recently upgraded to PureFibre Gigabit. The CSR sta...

Hey Variable - the Boost 7 needs to be plugged into the Network Access Hub so your problems may be due to the Boost 7 being connected to the T3200

I was finally able to get this working. I'll list the steps I took for the benefit of others.
- Disconnect any existing devices from the T3200M's LAN1 port.
- Login to admin of T3200M (192.168.1.154) and on the "Advanced Setup" page select "Port Bridging". Enable it.
- Connect the 10G Boost Wifi 7 to the T3200M LAN1 port.
- Power on the Boost Wifi and wait for its status LED to turn green.
- Connect a computer via wired ethernet into one of other two unused ports of the Boost Wifi.
- Wait a minute, then on that computer, go to 192.168.1.154. You should see the Boost Wifi's admin page not the T3200M's admin page. If you don't see anything, then try renewing your computer's IP.
- Make your desired changes to the Boost Wifi's settings and wait for it to save.
- Disconnect the computer from the Boost Wifi's ethernet port and return it to one of the open ports on the T3200M. Wait a minute for the network config to reset. You may need to renew your IP configuration.
- Connect a wireless device to the Boost Wifi's SSID. It should be working now.

Hey Variable - this was a cool read, thank you.
One thing I wanted to ask: The T3200 doesn't support Meshing. In this configuration (Bridging, etc.) did you disable the wireless network from the T3200 to use the Boost 7 instead? Otherwise you have two conflicting networks in the same space and you might run into interference issues.
I ask because in the past I've seen that people end up having 2 IPs and they begin experiencing issues like lag or pages not loading. I understand you're essentially using the T3200 as a Network switch. Why not remove it completely and use the Boost 7 with a slightly linger ethernet cable to the NAH? Would a 1Gb network switch not work better for this situation?
Super curious and I know you've put in a lot of work to make this functional so I hope my curiosity is coming across okay
