Is T3200M compatible with Wifi Boost 7 (v3.0)?
I currently use the Actiontec T3200M connected directly to the fibre receptacle on the wall (I live in an apartment that is pre-wired for fibre). I recently upgraded to PureFibre Gigabit. The CSR sta...

Hey Variable - the Boost 7 needs to be plugged into the Network Access Hub so your problems may be due to the Boost 7 being connected to the T3200

1 month agoI'm fairly certain that the Boost 7 should work. I have a similar setup as you but the Boost 6. In my case it's connected with MOCA.
Maybe try a different ethernet cable/port between the T3200M and Boost 7.
You should also be able to login to the Boost 7 with a web browser to take a look at it's status.

I think the Boost 7 is significantly different from the Boost 6. The T3200M is not one of the devices listed on the quick start guide.

Tried all the other ports. No difference.

The Boost 7 isn't supported by the Telus Connect app, and attempting to use a web browser to connect to its IP address fails. (It does get assigned an IP because it is listed on the T3200M's status page.) So there's no way for me to get to the Boost's config.

The quick start guide you referenced says you can login to the device to change the SSID:
Enter the Boost Wi-Fi 7 IP address into the browser window. Enter the username admin and admin password located on the device label to access Boost Wi-Fi 7 GUI.

Unfortunately, I can't connect to its assigned IP. When I try connecting to it in a browser, it times out. When pinging it, it fails.
